What was said: anyone got any remedies for a hardened hairball in a cat's colon..so we can avoid the cost of surgery..other than cod liver oil????????? been givin it to the cat since i got here:and its now in trouble ..took to vet yesterday..just couple x-rays and a shot or two was 533$ .,.... and its lookin like surgery if we can't get this dang hard hairball to pass out of its colon gonna cost even more..... gonna try cod liver oil again....it MIGHT work...after a few days of fasting..no food...a shot of hydration under skin MIGHT keep him dry enough to let the oil work its job on his colon .... this really suxs....this could really run up the costs of surgery .... know what to do when a horse gets a dry ball of veggitation caught....::::::slappin on arm to shoulder gloves;grabbin lard::::::don't look:::turn yer head n cough::: ::chucklin::: oh wut a visual THAT was ....its freakin HUGE..and dreadlocked;we know its in the colon now..so its beyond his ability to cough it up ...the shot is for nauseau and to keep him hydrated..has nothing to do with the actual hairball..seems its been ther a long time..and he's nto been able to move it .... 533$....for xrays and shots and blood work..... was gonna pass out when he told me the cost
What it means: it means that the word of a stranger on the internet is valued more than the word of a trained vet as long as money can be saved .... it means that the cat's life and suffering is not worth the money to pay for educated advice from the professional who KNOWS what to do for these problems ... it means that no matter what this person says MONEY DOES MATTER to "it".... it means that the suffering of an animal is of such low concern as opposed to how much money can be saved by NOT doing the right thing for the animal ... it means no matter how spiritual this person says "it" is ... life is of little value compared to the pocketbook... this says a LOT about the true nature and attitude of this person.
