Unchained Melody ..there are several totem meaning of morning doves peace;love;hope..charity..also they signify the presence of saints...and a few other meanings
Person Z: well it sat there , then looked around, & flew away.....never seen one on the porch alone./is that a good omen
Unchained Melody i'd say so .*enjoy her/his presence and feel blessed .. bird inside the house isn't usually deemed a good omen..just fyi..
Person Y: seen a big owl the other day what does that mean?
Unchained Melody nice ..owl is messenger of death to SOME Tribe and cultures.CAN mean someone is passing from your presence....and for pagans..usually teaches the lesson that its time to let go of the past there are varied meanings in most cultures that celebrate the totem teachings .. that does NOT mean someone might be dying..it usually means..prepare for the future with the awareness of the past...and do not slay your future from the past.
Person Y: well I believe that I seen it about a month before my father passed away
Unchained Melody nod one came when my mother passed..hovered over a pine tree...*and helped us say goodbye...they are a blessing when there is distance involved in my opinion
Person X: there was an owl couple outside my balcony door the other night... perhaps they were mating
Unchained Melody two owls...that Is interesting.....can't say as i've ever seen two at once...must be hunting nesting sites for the winter larger is usually the female in predatory birds..i know it is with hawks..male is smaller of the two two owls...hmm....i wonder if that might have to do with illusion vs. reality and how we are affected by our choices through the past into the future..will have to research that one
